MatchPoint
A Silicon Valley engineering firm, rebranded end to end. New promise, new voice, new identity, one system.
The brief
MatchPoint Solutions had grown from a 2006 staffing firm into a full product-engineering consultancy, but the brand had not kept up. It lacked a single, distinctive story to separate it from the field.
The brief was a full rebrand: redefine the promise, voice, vision and identity, then roll it out consistently across every touchpoint, and reposition MPS for everyone from startups to large enterprises.
The approach
We ran it as a phased program: review the current brand, survey stakeholders, study competitors, then redefine purpose, mission, voice and the core story before touching visuals.
The insight from the audit was simple. Rivals all talk about change and what they do, never the outcome. So MPS would own both what it does and who it does it for, in a voice set deliberately apart: technical, professional, creative, quirky.
The work
A complete brand system: the brand book, a new logo with a reveal animation, the core story, values, colour, type and usage rules.
Then the rollout: corporate and consulting pitch decks, a sales elevator pitch, a marketing execution framework, website and microsite content, and a content engine of blogs, whitepapers, newsletters and email.
